- Understand load charts, capacities, and safe working limits
- Follow correct communication and signalling methods during operations
- Shut down, secure, and store equipment safely after use

Course Duration
Novice Operator: Typically, 2 to 3 days
Experienced Operator / Refresher: 1 day
Duration may vary depending on prior experience and group size.
Assessment
All candidates will complete:
A theory test (verbal or written) covering safety and operational knowledge
A practical assessment demonstrating competent and safe use of the lorry loader
Successful delegates will receive an NPORS Operator Card for N107 – Lorry Loader (HIAB).
Entry Requirements
Candidates must be 18 years or older.
A good understanding of spoken and written English is required.
Delegates must be medically fit to operate lifting machinery safely.
This course can also be delivered by one of our instructors that speak Russian, Polish, or Lithuanian.
Certification
On successful completion of training and assessment, candidates will receive an NPORS Operator Card (N107 – Lorry Loader / HIAB), valid for 5 years from the date of issue or 2 years if they require to have CSCS logo.
