Participants will learn to:

- Conduct pre-use and functional checks specific to lifting operations
- Attach, secure, and detach lifting accessories safely
- Communicate effectively during lifting operations using industry-recognised signals and systems
- Manoeuvre and transport suspended loads safely within the working area
- Understand the effects of load swing and how to minimise risk
- Carry out post-operation checks and maintain records in accordance with company procedure

Course Duration
Novice Operator: Typically 2 to 3 days
Experienced Operator / Refresher: 1 day
Duration may vary depending on experience level and candidate numbers.
Assessment
Each candidate will be assessed through:
- A theoretical knowledge test (written or verbal)
- A practical operating assessment involving suspended load lifts
Successful candidates will receive an NPORS Operator Card for N138 – Telescopic Handler Suspended Loads (Lifting Operations).
Entry Requirements
Delegates must already hold or have experience equivalent to the NPORS N010 Telehandler category.
Candidates must be at least 18 years old.
A good understanding of spoken and written English is required.
Participants should be medically fit to operate machinery and perform lifting operations safely.
This course can also be delivered by one of our instructors that speak Russian, Polish, Romanian, or Lithuanian.
Certification
Successful candidates will receive an NPORS Operator Card (N138 – Telescopic Handler Suspended Loads – Lifting Operations), valid for 5 years from the date of issue or 2 years if they require to have CSCS logo.
