- Handle emergency situations and identify unsafe lifting conditions
- Shut down, secure, and isolate the crane safely after use

Course Duration
Novice Operator: Typically, 5 days
Experienced Operator / Refresher: 2 days

Assessment
Delegates will be assessed through:
A theoretical test (verbal or written) covering relevant legislation, safety requirements, and operational principles
A practical assessment demonstrating safe, effective, and competent operation of a crawler crane
Upon successful completion, learners will receive an NPORS Operator Card for N103 – Crawler Crane.
Entry Requirements
Candidates must be 18 years or older.
A good understanding of spoken and written English is required.
Delegates should be medically fit to operate heavy lifting equipment safely.
Certification
On successful completion of all assessments, delegates will receive an NPORS Operator Card (N103 – Crawler Crane), valid for 5 years from the date of issue or 2 years if they require to have CSCS logo.
