NPORS Dozer N215 Training, Driving & Operating Course Essex, Suffolk and Norfolk

MV and Sons Forklift Training Services LTD are delighted to offer our existing and new customers this new NPORS Dozer training course in Suffolk and Essex. Every year we try to introduce something new into our already wide range of training courses that we offer, and there it is to get trained on our new Komatsu D39 Dozer as a driver and a operator and be competent in using this machine and get a better paid job when you pass your basic training with us. We offer NPORS Dozer novice training course, experienced worker test as well as retest refresher training. Courses can be done at our depot postcode IP23 8AW or on site if you have the machine, practical and theory area available. Our instructors speak different languages so training can be done in English, Lithuanian, Polish and Russian.

Dozer driver training if you have licence/certificates from different countries can be done in 1 day reassessment course.

Course duration:
1-10 days dependent on experience and number of people on the course.

Upon successful completion of the Dozer training course, candidates will have gained practical skills and knowledge to:

• Their roles and responsibilities as a plant operator
• A basic understanding of the industry and current up to date legislation
• Name and describe the purpose of principal components, controls, and terminology.
• Knowledge and ability to conform to the manufacturer’s requirements as per the operator’s handbook.
• Undertake all pre-use plant checks.
• Configure and set for site travel.
• Travel over rough, undulating ground, substantial inclines, and level surfaces
• Manoeuvre the plant equipment in confined spaces.
• Configure and set for excavating duties.
• Explain actions required for hazards, underground and overhead services.
• Construct ramps and form and shape stockpiles
• Grade, spread and level ground materials.
• Carry out plant equipment shut down and securing procedures.
• Explain the loading and unloading procedures for machine transport.
• Assessment
• Multiple-choice theory test
• Practical Test
• Certification

Upon booking the course you can request NPORS CSCS route, or NPORS for the NPORS Traditional route.

Successful candidates will obtain an NPORS ‘National Plant Operators Registration Scheme’ card on completion. Those requiring the CSCS-embossed Red Trained Operator card (2-year validity) will need to have a valid CITB HSE test; during this 2-year period candidates will need to achieve the relevant plant operations NVQ that will enable them to upgrade their Blue Competent Operator card (5-year validity). Alternatively, candidates not holding a valid CITB HSE test will only be eligible to receive the traditional NPORS operator card 5 Year. However, this doesn’t carry the CSCS logo and isn’t as widely recognised.
