MV & Sons EE UK training services LTD are delightful to be able to offer accredited up to 1-3 tonnes Micro/Mini excavator training courses.

We now have facilities where private individuals can come to our site and be tested by our accredited instructors.

Courses duration will depend on candidates experience usually 1 to 10 days if candidate is a complete novice.

Course types:

• Experienced worker test 1 day (evidence from employer required)
• Semi experienced 3-5 days
• Complete novice 5-10 days training dependent on ratio

Course contents include:

• Pre operational checks
• Manoeuvring
• Checks to carry out before excavation
• Backfilled excavation
• From a raised bench prepare to load a vehicle
• Load a dump truck
• Change attachments
• Quick hitch theory
• Shut down procedures

Theory is included on all subjects above.

Things operator should check before he/she digs an excavation:

• Land owners permission
• Plans detailing all underground services
• C.A.T and GENNY (cable avoidance scanner)
• Dig in layers max of 6 inches at the time as recommended
