Course Content
Participants will learn to:

- Identify and explain machine components and their functions
- Conduct thorough pre-use inspections and maintenance checks
- Understand the principles of stability, load capacity, and safe operation
- Operate the excavator for various tasks, including:
- Excavating trenches and foundations
- Lifting and placing materials
- Grading, levelling, and backfilling
- Loading vehicles safely
- Travel and manoeuvre safely around the worksite
- Recognize and minimise environmental and operational hazards
- Park, shut down, and secure the excavator safely at the end of operations

Course Duration
Novice Operator: Typically, 3 to 5 days
Experienced Operator / Refresher: 1 to 2 days
Duration may vary depending on prior experience and the number of participants.
Assessment
Each candidate will undertake:
- A theoretical knowledge test
- A practical operating assessment
Successful candidates will receive an NPORS Operator Card for N202 – Excavator 360.
Entry Requirements
Candidates must be at least 18 years old.
A good understanding of spoken and written English is required.
Participants should be medically fit to operate heavy machinery.
This course can also be delivered by one of our instructors that speak Russian, Polish, or Lithuanian.
Certification
Successful delegates will receive an NPORS Operator Card (N204 – Forward Tipping Dumper), valid for 5 years from the date of issue or 2 years if they require to have CSCS logo.
